First of all I just wanted to share some really exciting news!!! My seaside card from the yesterday’s post is being featured in Whimsical Musings Magazine ;)))!!!
I have only just come across this online magazine on Sue’s blog (by the way, Sue has been featured there, too!) and it is really lovely. It features so many wonderful artists and the artwork is so versatile! I am truly privileged to have my card shown amongst such amazing projects!
Another exciting thing - I now have a hundred followers! A big thank you and warmest hugs to all my followers and blogging friends, your support and encouragement in my crafty journey really means a lot to me!
I am so excited that I will even share a card with you, lol! A card on Monday, you may ask??? I know!!! Since I am usually a weekend blogger, that’s pretty unusual for me, isn’t it?
That’s only because I have a day off today – another thing to get excited about ;).
Anyway, I got quite intrigued by the current challenge at Play Date Cafe Challenge. The girls have teamed up with the CASE Study Challenge for a truly unusual challenge. Here’s the inspiration photo:
And here’s my take on the challenge ;).
I wanted to try something new but still keep my card to be fairly simple (as my cards go lol!) and focus on stamping. I used Red Pepper Colour Wash, black Archival and Peeled Paint and Fired Brick distress inks.
The swirls have been made with Liquid Pearls using my new flourish template by Bazzill Basics Paper ;).
My card was inspired by nature, just like the Allsorts Challenge #91. I would also like to add this card to the challenge Tworczy Pokoj #20.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Thank you for visiting ;).
