Bloom where you are planted...

Just a quick mid-week post with another experiment of mine...

The background was created by blending some Tim Holtz Distress Inks (Spiced Marmelade & Crushed Olive) with a touch of stronger shades using Ranger's Colour Wash sprays (Butterscotch, Lettuce & Red Pepper).

The butterflies were stamped with Staz On inks and the white one was heat embossed. I also added some Stickles for a bit of a bling ;). The sentiment is by Raindrop Echo.

The layered flower was sprayed with gold cosmic shimmer mist.

This lovely colour palette comes from the colourQ challenge #80 :)

The red cardstock has a lovely embossed pattern but I am not sure you can see it easily on the picture...

Hope you are having a wonderful week! Thank you for visiting and your lovely comments :)))
Big hugs ;)))

I wish my experiments looked this wonderful! Joanna, it's a masterpiece! The colors are amazing-- I love the combo of the dramatic Color Wash sprays and softer DI tones. The design is great, too-- the butterfly panels are perfect, and the twine and flowers are lovely. You can't beat that wonderful sentiment. Awesome art!
