Dotted tea party

Hello again!

I am really excited about the card I would like to share with you today.

This is because I will also be able to “take you” on a journey to the place where I come from.

I come from a town called Boleslawiec in the south - west Poland. My home town is famous from two things mostly. First one being the incredible ceramic tableware hand-molded and hand-decorated, using the stamp technique.

This is a decoration at the main entrace to the town.

We are also famous because of our clay people ;-)))

As I am a total fan of my home town ceramic wonders, it was only right to use some of the pieces from my collection as a backdrop for my card ;-).

This week the girls at the Shabby Tea Room are having a (polka) dotted tea party and I just couldn't resist joining in ;-).

As a colour scheme is used the colour palette from this week’s challenge at the Play Date Café.

I used a recipe from this week’s challenge at the City Crafter Challenge which is 1 ribbon, 2 papers and 3 flowers ;-)

For my lovely, steamy hot tea I used a swirly stamp on acetate and accented it with a few pearls, for the One Stop Craft challenge #82.

Hmmmm…. I think it’s time for another cuppa! ;-)))

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card Joanna, and what an amazing history of your home town! I'm still trying to decide if the clay people are real, or if some are statues and some are real. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
