Hello my lovely blogging Friends!
I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone! Yes, it’s time for another Sentimental Sundays Challenge ;).
When you read this I will be somewhere in Germany, travelling to Poland to visit my family and for a short break in Polish beautiful mountains. One of the Blogger’s little wonders is that I managed to schedule this post to greet you on Sunday morning whilst I am far far away….away from my computer that is since my blogging Friends come form all over the world and I don’t think it makes much of a difference where I am typing from LOL! ;-).
Right, so this week the theme is nice and easy. Anything goes! ;-) How cool is that! So the theme, colours, project is completely of your choice and all we are asking is that you include a sentiment somewhere on your creation. It can be one of the lovely freebies offered this week, created by Ann at Raindrop Echo, of any other one of your choice. The possibilities are endless lol!
As I was soooooo busy getting ready for the trip, unfortunately I didn’t have time to create anything new for this challenge ;(. But as I would not like to disappoint your “creative eyes” here’s my completed (at least that’s what I think at this point in time…lol!) art journal page that I promised to post looooong time ago...
I created this page during my last workshop at the Stamp Attic with Sarah Anderson. This workshop was all about texture. We tried some lovely Viva Decor texture pastes, very creamy Eco Friendly Paints and tried to create some embossed elements with TSS metal stuff. What a delight that was!!!!!
I also had a go, for the first time ever, to shrink some plastic. And whilst I managed to get a couple of pieces done, I’ve decided that shrink plastic and I are not likely to become close friends anytime soon….lol ;).
I added a few of TH’s embellies and also some of my own ;), I mean the ones that my lovely hubby managed to retrieve from our old broken clock lol ;-).
Please make sure to pop over here to see what my DT Sisters have created this time as they have done WONDERS! As usual! ;-). And if you fell in love with Ann’s lovely freebie sentiments, pop over to Whimsy Stamps for another feast for your eyes!
Apologies in advance for not being able to visit you guys whilst I’m away. I will miss you loads!!!! And I'm sending loads of special hugs to those letting me know that you've been here...you know how much I love your comments! ;)))
"See" you soon!!!
Warmest hugs

So this is what you got up to at the last workshop! looks great fun and your creation is fab. Hope you're having a lovely holiday in Poland Joanna!
Of course this is gorgeous Joanna! Love the clock parts, and all of that texture is absolutely fabulous! :)
another fabulous creation.. I just love it! I hope you have fun on your vacation! I just got back myself from a nice little trip!
Hope you are having a wonderful time on holiday and a well earned break. This piece is gorgeous and so much texture, I love it. Great theme too. Tracy Evans x
I like the colours here Joanna, and the textures are delicious.
Keep going with the shrink plastic.. just keep going!!
Have a large wooden, rubber stamp handy and use the wooden back of it to flatten your shrunken plastic while it is still hot.
You must keep on at it... you WILL get the hang of it.
It just takes a bit of practise.
Sue xx
Gorgoeus.. loving all those textures.. lush x

Your work is just BEAUTIFUL Joanna! You really should get it published, it's stunning! Love the texture you've created!
I haven't had a minute to even think about workshops. Must check them out, what ones are you going on? We need to set a date to meet up for a coffee, it's well overdue! x
