Treasured memories... that's the theme of this week's challenge at Sentimental Sundays ;)

This is a continuation of my crafty experiments this weekend... You may wish to have a peek at my card in the art journalling style I posted yesterday...;)
I wanted to create a scrapbook album as a birthday pressie for my niece (and her Mum as well, I suppose!). She's celebrating her first birthday :)).
For the handmade rose I used the free flower stamp from the Craft Stamper.
This PaperArtsy sentiment was stamped on acetate and heat embossed.
This page is probably my favourite one... Little Layla at bath time... Isn't she a cutie????
I would like to add this page to the Sunday Stamper's challenge #149 with a theme blue ;)
For stamping on acetate I used black Archival, which I then clear embossed and on the other side was stamped with acrylic paints.
In my book I've also hidden some pockets and envelopes for little notes and journalling...
I'm off now to enjoy the sun in the garden... After a really stressful week, this is the best way to recharge the batteries ;) I think I must be equipped in some kind of a solar panel on the top of my head...lol !
