This song always makes me properly sentimental... I remember the days, back in the XVIIth century :) when I was a youngster, and those school discos, where all the girls had weak knees and butterflies in their tummies, waiting for their sweethearts to ask them to dance lol ;).
And this was an inspiration for my card - the song and the butterflies ;). For my card I used scraps of papers from previous projects only, from the hand rolled flowers, to punched butterflies and music sheet leaves. Not a single "new" page of paper was used :D.
This week at Sentimental Sundays we would like you to show us a creation inspired by a song...
The sentiment is by Tim Holtz in a frame by Raindrop Echo ;). The frame was coloured with distress inks. The rose trim was "vintaged" with a custom mixture of Vintage Photo distress ink and gold cosmic shimmer mist.
I hope you are having a lovely Sunday and hope you can find a moment to see what the rest of DT have prepared to inspire you - and oh boy, with all the new DT Sisters joining in with their first challenge, there's loads of inspiration to please the eye! ;).
