Yes, I'm back!!!
Thank you so much for all your comments, emails and messages throughout my break from blogging. They meant so much to me and it was really lovely to know that you haven't forgotten about me ;).
I've really missed sharing inspiration and I hope to visit your sweet blogs really soon to see what you have been up to.
I'd like to celebrate my return to blogging with this sweet little card I've made for today's Polka Doodles challenge. This time we're asking you to show off your gorgeous Mother's Day projects.
Although the UK celebrated Mother's Day last Sunday, my Mum won't be getting her card until May, as this is when Mother's Day is celebrated in Poland ;).
For my card I used the ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL papers from the brand new Sugarplum Daisy CD. I distressed the edges with sand paper, then added some lace and machine stitching for a shabby chic look.
The gorgeous die cut shapes are from Marianne’s Designs and PaperArtsy. This lovely "cameo" lady was cut from a die I won in a Twitter prize draw from Marianne - thank you so much, I simply adore this die!!!
The green paper for the leaves was printed onto a vintage music sheet – and I just looove the way it looks! This is the cool thing about these digi papers - you can print them onto your chosen background, like vintage sheet music, and you get such amazing results!
This CD is a definite MUST HAVE!
