WOYWW #152 and a Jubilee puzzle

I haven't been 'snooping around' crafty desks for a while so I thought it was time to join WOYWW again :-). If you'd like to find out what it's about hop over to Julia's blog - the Commander in Chief of our blog snoop troop!

I've been busy rearranging some things on the shelves lately and my desk is semi tidy - showing mere beginnings of a crafty activity ;).

But the most exciting thing is these two little gems I spotted in a charity shop the other day.
Two boxes of jigsaw puzzles - one with HM Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during the Silver Jubilee and a gorgeous French art deco chic design.

I am sure one day they will get incorporated into an arty project but not sure what this will be yet. If you have any suggestions - please feel free to share! :-). Oh! And I also have a new radio! The old one is now a decoration - it kept detuning and it was driving me mad ;-D.

In case you haven't yet - make sure to join my super sweet 2nd Blogaversary candy :). Click on the picture below to be magically transported to the candy post.

Happy WOYWW everyone!

Big hugs

On the wall on the right in your photo, you have a frame hanging with flowers on the side looks very much like one i saw in either craft stamper of scrap 365...was that you?

I love jigsaw puzzles, I would make them first just for the challenge, I cant do that in my house as the cats feel like a jigsaw puzzle is their rightful bed. LOL

I love using them for lettering on all sorts of things.

Such a beautiful, tidy craft space.
I have fallen in love with your Art Deco jigsaw, that is divine. I was sure I was around in that era lol.
Have fun, won't you :)

Another tidy desk.........
Puzzles were a good find - I'd have to do them first before adding them to anything.

You put down a table cloth, that's a wonderful idea! Your craft area looks amazing organized and ready for full on crafting! As for puzzle piece ideas...wow...I don't know. I've been looking at some lately in thrift stores and perhaps little pieces would look neat on dominoes? An altered art piece perhaps. :)

What a nice organized space!! I use a plastic shower curtain on my workspace sometimes. I'm late in getting around this week. Congrats on your blogversary!! Way to go.

I need to go back and read your other posts - that bunting looks great.

Oh, love the puzzles. On pinterest I saw where they made each little puzzle piec a mini work of art then put the puzzle back together. I think I pinned it. I'll look.

Hugs,
Kay

Thanks for popping over to see me.

you have a very exciting work desk there. Your clock takes me right back to my childhood, when I had a clock with moving pecking chickens. I really loved it. thank you for your visit and kind comments. xx Maggie #93
