Stampendous teams up with DYSU :)

Guess what? Stampendous are teaming up today with Do You Stack Up challenge blog, to have a little play together with all the yummy Stampendous goodies :). And I am playing too!

The theme is: Something Old and here's my project for the challenge.

I've made a tag, inspired by T!m's October tag :). I stared by layering a gorgeous printed napkin onto a die cut tag, creasing it and wrinkling it as I went along.

Once the glue was dry, I randomly stamped the Typewriter alphabet and swiped some Tea Dye ink onto the creases for more of an aged look.

Then I stamped the gorgeous Chandelier stamp with Midnight Black powder and Aged Gold enamel. My tag could not be left without my favourite encrusted Fran-tage look so in two opposite corners I sprinkled Aged Ochre enamel and Midnight Black powder, then added Mica fragments and crushed glass glitter and heated it from underneath. I love the vintage bling look!

I also added some really old Laura Ashley rub ons which I found at the very bottom of one of my drawers. I don't think they still make them... They definitely add to the aged look lol ;).

And here's your supply list:
Chandelier Clear stamps set, Small Typewriter Alphabet clear stamps, Aged Ochre Embossing Enamel, Aged Gold Embossing Enamel, Midnight Black Embossing PowderGilded Mica Fragments, Champagne Crushed Glitter,

Distress inks: Tea Dye, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot ; printed napkin, Decopatch glue.

I hope you will join us to play with Something Old theme! Thank you for visiting and your lovely comments :).

Big hugs

Hi Johanna: I really like the new look of your blog - how each submission is captured in a photo frame on your homepage.

You don't often see kitchen theme tags and this one is so creative with the use of the napkin, and other embellies. Love it!
