From drab to fab - an altered shabby chic papier mache dress form |

The inspiration for the outfit was drawn from this beautiful project made by Gail Schmidt from the Shabby Cottage Studio. I created my layers with Canvas Ribbons, Lace Ribbons and a paper trim die cut using Spellbinders Oval Regalia set. The flower was made using Peony die set.

Gorgeous dressform!! Love the chess pieces idea for bottom part instead of candle holder which I commonly use andthey can be rather costly LOL!! :)

I absolutely love what how you designed the dress form. It is beautiful, and the stand made out of the chess pieces is perfect. Now I know what to do with mine. I have hung on to them for a couple years and was about ready to get rid of them, but this is awesome.
