Sentimental Sundays #5 - Thankful

Welcome to the 5th challenge at the Sentimental Sundays. This week’s theme is “Thankful”.

There are many everyday things we are soooo used to, that we tend to take them for granted. That’s why for this challenge I wanted to look at things from a different perspective. Rather than creating a traditional “thank you card” I opted for a sweet summary keepsake album.

This is my way to celebrate another day of loving by treasuring the precious moments I have already lived lol ;-). I fell in love with this project after reading the latest issue of the Craft Stamper and I simply had to make one, too!

The pages were coloured with the distress inks: mustard seed, spiced marmalade and fired brick. I stamped the image with a clear embossing ink. The first page was embossed with a sea foam white embossing powder and the remaining pages with the clear embossing powder. The bigger butterflies were cut using Slice, design card 2.

As always, there is a fabulous set of digital sentiments for grabs. Feel free to also browse the sentiments designed by Raindrop Echo Designs at the Whimsy Stamps.

Take a moment to have a look at all the DT’s fabulous creations and I hope you can join us at this week’s challenge!
