Today I am going to make a big SCENE!!!! ;P No, don't be frightened, I am not going to show any bad temper here lol ;). The "scene" is a theme of the new Let's Ink It Up Challenge #5 and you can interpret it whichever way you like it! ;).
This week the prize is a $10 voucher from Tickled Pink Stamps.
Tickled Pink Stamps is based in Australia and is the home of the Lil Lolita and Lil Lads Stamps. They are everything quirky and sweet all in the one stamp and perfect for any occasion. Tickled Pink Stamps also has a range of sentiments and images to match with the gorgeous Lil Lolita and Lil Lads ranges. With new images coming all the time there is always something there to suit everyone and help bring out the quirky in us all....
So, now onto my scene...
For the frame I altered an old cream photo mount. This was coloured with Tattered Rose DI and the corners stamped with Tim Holtz and Creative Expressions flourish stamps. The punched butterflies were treated with Glossy Accents for a more glamorous look.
The background was created with Peeled Paint, Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Broken China distress inks onto cream card. Added a few random water sploges. The Flower Soft bike was stamped with Black Archival Ink and coloured with Vintage Photo DI and the highlights were added with White Sakura Glaze pen. The baskets were filled in with Flower Soft for added texture.
The background shrubs were stamped with Stampendous and Tim Holtz stamps, inks Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo, using first and second impressions. Butterflies and birds stamps are by Penny Black and Tim Holtz and I also added a few butterfly peel off stickers. The whole piece was sprayed with Rich Gold Cosmic Shimmer Mist for added sparkle.
Wooow, how's that for a description, I'm not normally capable of remembering the names of the supplies I use and the packaging has long been lost for most of my stuff...lol ;-)
Make sure you pop over here to see what my DT Sisters have created and let me tell ya, their scenes are absolutely AMAZING!
Hope you can join us with this week's challenge! Thanks for looking and for your lovely comments ;-0).
