It's snowing at Sentimental Sundays! - DT card #33

Hiya!

Only 13, 12 or 9 sleeps to Santa, depending on your circumstances ;->. Yeeepie!!!

To help you get into the Christmas spirit, we’ve arranged for a sprinkle of white, white snow for you :). So join us this week at the Sentimental Sundays with a beautiful creation, add a sentiment and… “Let it snow”!

My project this week has multiplied! :) :) :) As most of the wonderful crafters out there I have already started my production line of Christmas cards. I decided to do them in “series” to speed up the manufacturing process…

Roll the drums….

Ladies and gentlemen…

Let me introduce you to my first series of Christmas cards…

“Blue Christmas”!!!

I started by creating some background sheets that I could then chop up as needed. The backgrounds were created by a happy unison of wrinkle free distress technique with lots of snowflake stamping and hot embossing. Then I “snowed” some snow with a “random dots” stamp and Cool Peri paint dabber.

The hot embossing was paired with dry embossed panels :). The quotes so artfully arranged are of course by Raindrop Echo for Whimsy stamps.

After adding a ribbon, Christmas sentiment and final sprinkle of punched and glittered snowflakes each card was complete…;)

Here you can see the whole set. I was virtually trying to fly over the cards to get a good aerial shot but somehow my “hovering” skills have let me down and the camera experienced a little shake shock… Hence the pic not so good, sorry about that…

Don’t forget to grab yourself a free set of Ann’s fabulous sentiments and check my DT Sisters’ samples on the challenge blog. The inspiration this week is so absolutely….inspiring! lol ;)

Happy Sunday everyone!

Joanna stop making me feel guilty about the Christmas cards I am making, the work you have put into that paper for your cards is making me feel lazy. Sooo worth the effort your cards are just gorgeous. Love the blue and white combination, everything looks so cool.
