Christmas Bangle and Stampendous & ClearSnap Big Blog Hop Finale

To all the new friends - welcome to my blog! To all my regular crafty companions - lovely to see you here again. As promised, I am back today with my second project for this week's blog collaboration of Stampendous and ClearSnap.

This is such a perfect pair for stamping enthusiasts. Beautiful stamps and fantastic inks - stamping just doesn't get better than this, does it?

For my inspiration today I've prepared a Christmas gift - a wooden bangle from DIY Bangles.

First I stamped the background panel from the Jumbo Dear Santa onto tissue paper using Bluejay and Butternut Mix'd Media Inx® Chox inks by Donna Salazar. Next I cut out one panel in each colour quite close to the writing and separated the panels into two smaller pieces.

After I painted my bangle with a light cream acrylic paint, I layered my tissue pieces on the bangle while the paint was still wet and smoothed out the creases. I sealed the tissue with decoupage medium.

My bangle had a groove which I filled in with small white thin foam squares, keeping the top protective sheets on.

Then I peeled the covers every other square and covered them with Champagne and Steel Blue Crushed Glass Glitters.

So hop on to see what other fantastic projects are waiting to be admired! And who knows, you might be the lucky commenter to win a fabulous prize.

WOW!! this is such an AWESOME Bracelet!! I LOVE the colors you used and the creative design!! In order to keep the glitter from coming off though, did you cover it with something like Ice Resin or Glossy Accents!!?? I could see having that glitter all over if I wore it without coating it with something!! THANKS so much for sharing and for the AMAZING Inspiration and have a Fabulous Weekend!! ;)

Thank you for your comment Larissa! I have the glitters a quick seal with the decoupage medium, the same I used for sealing the tissue paper. So far so good!
