Belated happy Christmas wishes, blog awards and secrets....

So much for my posts scheduling ;((( It’s all gone!!! No idea what happened and why blogger has played tricks on me again ;(((

I hope you will all forgive me for these belated Merry Christmas wishes but there is still time for the New Year’s wishes – sooooo… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

The card I was hoping to show you with my seasonal greetings is here…

It was made originally for the Sentimental Sundays challenge but obviously did not get posted ;( (by the way the current challenge at Sentimental Sundays is Baby and as always there is a fabulous set of free digital sentiments!).

No close up pictures this time as I am still away in Poland without my computer and only managed to pinch this one photo from the DT gallery... But it was made in a similar way to the previous card you can check here... The Silent Night letters were stamped with StazOn and traced with Glossy Accents. The background was created with StazOn and distress inks, with a some silver cosmic shimmer mist and glitter glues for a wintery sparkle.

I don't have the name of the leaf stamp to hand (will check that later if anyone needs it...) and it was coated in Glossy Accents to create a glossy, raised effect, similar to the Silent Night sentiment ;).

This card actually matches the theme at Sunday Stamper #134 which is music. And the cool thing about this challenge is that Hels has got a candy - a voucher for the Stamp Attic ;). And I would loooove to win it as I loooooooove the Stamp Attic. Please, please Mr Random Thinggy, pick me, pick me! lol ;)))

I have also been recently given a few blog awards by some lovely, lovely blogging friends and it's about time to share them with the world ;). I am going to pass all three awards to each person so just pick the one/s you like ;D.

I would like to thank Ruby, Claire, Tameko, Shirl, Lori and Ros. Please do take a moment to visit their fabulous blogs and share some love! ;)

Part of accepting this award is to:

1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you this award. Done ;)
2. Share 8 things about yourself.
3. Pass it on to 8 bloggers - I have to combine all these awards so I would like to pass it on to 16 people ;).
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their award.

So here it goes, a few things about me:
1. I loooove crafting, I craft 24/7 if not actually in my craft room then constantly in my head ;). Now that I am in Poland and am not able to do any crafting, I am suffering from some serious withdrawal symptoms lol!
2. I am awfully affraid of spiders ;(.
3. I am super crazy about my lovely hubby, my cat and my 2 lovely nieces ;)
4. I used to be in scouts for many years (yes, I wore a uniform!). This gave me the first opportunity to craft with "natural" materials. I used to make lovely shapes and useful objects from bark, twigs and wood, using nails, string or simply a piece of grass ;)
5. I play guitar although I have neglected my lovely instrument recently - must fix it in the new year!
6. I would love to learn skiing. I actually did some skiing when I was about 10 in the communal staircase from my parents' apartment. I thought that putting the skis at home rather than outside would make it much easier... This is definately one of those "don't try this at home" things. My skiing adventure was complete before I reached the door out of the building...
7. My biggest achievement - passing my driving test :).
8. Biggest secret (although not any more!) - take a deep breath! - on Friday 25th Fab 2011 I will be learning the secrets of distress from the Duke of Distress himself at ArtsyCrafts in Newport Pagnell - a super pressie from my super hubby!!!! yeeeeeey!!!!! ;)

Now here's a list of those wonderful people that I would like to share these awards with:

Agnieszka  - Mirabeel
Agnieszka - Ona i ja
Carol
Cheryl
Claire
Hels
Kimberly
Kirsty
Linda
Nigel
Sarah
Shirl
Sue
Suzanne C
Suzanne K
Tracy

Well, that's all for now my Friends. Apologies for being quiet but I have a limited access to internet at the moment :(. I will try to make it up to you in the New Year!

Best wishes for a happy and super-crafty New Year!
Joanna x

So good to 'see' you on with a gorgeous bit of shining eye candy Joanna! So wonderfully creative, and a lovely color combo as well. Blogger does seem to have a mind of its own, doesn't it? Sorry it didn't play nice for you while you're away. Your awards are so well deserved and I loved the part about crafting in your head too! lol Thank you so much for thinking of me when you passed them on, you are such a sweetie! Enjoy the rest of your holidays Joanna! :)

Hi Joanna. Hope you had a good Christmas...thank you so much for thinking of me, the award I like is the black one. Your Christmas greeting card is lovely, as ever. Your secret----does that mean you are doing a Tim Holtz workshop with Tim himself?

Enjoy!!!
Wishing you all the best things for 2011.

Joanna - thank you so much for the award. I've only just come across your post on my blog - I've been ignoring my blog somewhat lately! Actually - you often inspire me so the feeling's mutual! Happy new year and have a wonderful year creating.
