Working on a bigger picture...

Hello peeps!

I finally managed to find a moment to update you on my latest workshop with Sarah Anderson at the Stamp Attic.

This session was all about creating beautiful stuff on canvas with assistance of paint dabbers, inks, stamps (of course!) and grunge paper. I was really excited about this workshop as I was dying to learn how to make those wonderful grunge paper flowers, especially roses.

Before we were ready to get “the big picture” ;-), as a warm up we did cute little canvases and decorated some “winged” embellies with Glossy Accents.

At lunch time we had a “school trip” to see an exhibition by A level kids (or GCSE??? I always get confused by these as I don't really know what they mean lol!)  or A+++ artists, should I say. Look at the beauties they've created… I was lost for words!

You can’t see it too well on the picture, but on this one the hands are actually flying in the mid air ;-).

And this one has got cake decoration sweeties stuck on it. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuumy!

Now, so you can see the bigger picture on what "goings on" were going on, here you go!

I'm not sure actually which workshop I took this piccie on. But I'm sure you get the idea...;-)
And here are the fruits of my efforts.

The background:

& Co..:) :

This of course is nowhere being finished. But I am really hoping to find a moment to complete my piece sometime soon as I would love to finally see it hanging on the wall ;).

Consider it a sneak peek then ;-)))

Now, I can't wait for the book covers on the 17th lol ;-)))!
And guess what?! It’s Friday!!!!!! Yeeeeey!
Sending you all very sunny wishes….;-)
