I'm dreaming of a Fashionably White Christmas! - FSC #9

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know

Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow...

Welcome to another Fashionable Stamping Challenge! This time we are dreaming of a white Christmas...;).

As always our lovely sponsor Marina from Cottage Crafts will have something fabulous waiting for the lucky winner!

I've recently fell in love with the kraft colour, which goes quite nicely with the idea of recycled packaging etc. which I am a big fan of ;). And I couldn't resist the combination of the natural kraft and brown shades against sparkly white..
And here is what I would like to share for this challenge ;).

The main image is from Vintage Christmas set by Stempelglede (oh how I loooove this set!!!) and it was stamped on glossy card using Archival Sepia ink. I sponged the edges with white paint and sprinkled it with glitter. And don't you just love this lovely image of the girls decorating the tree?

The corrugated card was also covered with white paint and glitter glue.

The background stamps are Stempelglede and Inkadinkado and were heat embossed with a home made mixture of white and holographic embossing powders ;). It gives a lovely, delicate sparkle. The sentiment is from Papermania Silent Night set.

This challenge is right up my street as this year I am going to have a "proper" white Christmas. For the last few years I have been craving for a real Christmas tree with white ornaments and this year I am finally going to have it!!! We have just bought a nice collection of new baubles and ornaments for the tree...

But as you might expect, I would not have resisted the temptation to make some hand made ornaments... and indeed I have not! lol; ) So stay tuned as very soon I will share some with you...

Until then... please join us for this challenge and let's be merry about a white Christmas!

Ps. Make sure to check the inspiration from the rest of the DT as the samples are simply mind blowing!!! And please give a big cheer for our new Fashionette Paula - we are so happy she agreed to join the team!!

Big hugs
