How are you my Friends? We've got lovely weather here today. A bit chilly but I am really enjoying the autumnal sun. No doubt the trees will soon start turning colours...
And with the end of summer I finally finished reading "Sweethaven Summer", a book I 'won' from Elizabeth at Silver Scrapper's Crafty Space.
The book is quite a good read and it has a lovely crafty flavour to it (its main characters look back at their memories collected in a handmade scrapbook). When Elizabeth finished the book, she decided to pass it onto another crafter through a draw on her blog. And I would like to do the same.
So if you are interested, let me know by leaving a comment below and I will put your name in a hat. I will draw the winner let's say in about a week's time :).
Now, you might be wondering why I mentioned 'back to school' in the title. Well, that's right, I've signed up for a couple of courses :). First one is a 10 week long course in digital photography. The course is with Aimee Kirkham from Oxford Photography. Hopefully you will soon be able to see some improvement in my photography skills :)). And you never know, I might occasionally publish a homework piccie or two just to show you how I'm getting on.
The second workshop was a one day course about jewellery making with beads and wire with Amy Surman from The Oxford Beadshop. I really enjoyed it and you can see the fruits of my efforts here:
I will soon have some crafty inspiration to share with you. Until then... have a lovely weekend and hope the sun is shining brightly wherever you are!
Big hugs

I'd LOVE to read it, I read english books sometimes to keep my English up-to-date! LOL
Well, September is the right time for starting new courses (I still slightly think of it as the start of the year, even though I've been out of education for a good 20 years!) - hope you have a great time with both. And I love the new blog look - gorgeous colours!

I love stories that are woven around crafts. I would really enjoying reading it. Your jewelry is pretty. I wish I could do beading but I have difficulties holding tiny objects. I like the new look of your blog too. Nice job.
