Is This a Good Friday For a Stampendous & Spectrum Noir Blog Hop Finale?

I think so! Happy (Good) Friday to all! Oddly, in Polish we call it Great Friday - meaning 'grand', not 'good'. There, a little factoid you did not need to know lol :)

It's almost Easter and we're getting ready at home for the festivities. But before my Easter break, I have one more thing on my 'to do list' lol.

Today, Stampendous and Spectrum Noir design team are hosting a finale of this week's blog collaboration. There will be fun, there will be laughter, there will be art and there will be prizes! If you missed the previous posts this week be sure to check them out:

Stampendous and Spectrum Noir blog hop

Here is my today's offering - a little pendant. For this project I went back to my beloved Vintage Ladies stamp set, the same one I used in my recent dress form project. It's such a versatile stamp set - I love it! And it's perfectly sized for making your own handmade jewellery.

Vintage Stampendous dress form handmade pendant
I finished my pendant with a crackled bead and a sparkly ribbon
After colouring my image with my 'Speccies', I die cut it to size to fit inside the bezel. But I was missing something, my bezel seemed to be lacking some oomph... so I used my trusty markers to 'paint' the bezel, I added some sparklies and Red Crushed Glass Glitter inside and I jazzed up the clear cover with some white rub ons.

Supplies I used:
Stampendous - Vintage Ladies Perfectly Clear stamp set, Red Crushed Glass Glitter
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers - FS2, FS3, CR1, CR2, CR3, CR7, CR9, DR7, CT2, DG2
Adhesive Sheets from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Spellbinders Gilded Life Large Bezel GLLB - 006 and die GLD - 006
Maya Road - Cherry Blossoms White rub-ons
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

Spellbinders Gilded Life Large bezel
'Painting' metal embellishments with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens creates a shiny enameled effect
That's all from me! Be sure to check out all the other amazing projects shared today:

Love the necklace. A good way to save designs that you really hate to use for something but want to keep because of its looks.
I'll pass this on to my granddaghter - she's the jewelry maker in our family.

This pendant is gorgeous! I love how you thought "outside the box" and colored the bezel with your markers. Sure does make it pop. And the white rub ons just add an extra special touch. Lovely!
