Vintage piano through broken glass

Me again, your favourite UK Stampendous correspondent lol :).

My BlogStar appointment is almost complete - I will really miss sharing all the inspiration with you!

This month the whole Stampendous Team is playing with embossing - which always adds such an amazing magical touch to any project. As I absolutely love embossing, surely I would want to join in the fun. And I sooooo have! :)

Here's your essentials list:

US crafters - hop over to the Stampendous site for Vintage Piano Clear Stamps set and Cling Tin Panel, Deep Impressions Chunky Clear Embossing Enamel, Shabby White Embossing Enamel, Aged Gold Embossing Enamel, Gilded Mica Fragments

UK crafters - hop over to the Stamp Man site for Vintage Piano Clear Stamps set and Cling Tin Panel, Deep Impressions Chunky Clear Embossing Enamel, Shabby White Embossing Enamel, Aged Gold Embossing Enamel, Gilded Mica Fragments

Other supplies:

Distress inks: Embossing ink, Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone.

Coffee Archival ink, ivory and green cardstock, violet background paper, cheese cloth, ribbon, mixed sequins, fabric flowers, decorative pins.

For full instructions be sure to visit the Stampendous blog. But I just wanted to show you all those lovely cracks close up - it is such a great technique!

The cracks give a fabulous broken glass effect. You can also highlight some of the cracks with a dark coloured ink. And look at that gorgeous sparkle from the encrusted jewels!

I really ought to 'break glass' more often, I just love the finished effect. It's almost like having a naughty peak through the (broken) window to secretly watch the vintage lady playing (I just love this stamp set!)... She's playing Mozart today :).

Have you broken any glass lately? :)

I hope you've enjoyed looking through my broken glass and I look forward to seeing your beautiful embossed creations!

Big hugs

Did you look on Wendy's site for the workshops? Unfortunately I won't be able to meet up afterwards as they are on a Sunday and I will need to get back for dinner with the family, but now I am retired I am happy to meet up during the week sometime if you are able to.
